The Nigeria Postcard Project

WASC members have over the years built up major collections of picture postcards depicting Nigerian places, people and events. The Nigerian Postcard Project provides a catalogue of known postcards arranged by publisher, with images of as many cards as we can find. Nigeria Picture Postcards is a .pdf catalogue containing hyperlinks to images. At intervals we expect to post updated versions as further postcard images are added. These updates are listed below.

• Nigeria Picture Postcards v2 updated 19 October 2026 (142 new image links)

Initially based on work by Terrence Dickinson and Ray Harris, consolidated by Rob May, we hope to keep expanding the catalogue as new information comes to light.

We would be most grateful to receive images of cards not already included!
